Film & Media Program
Meets Mondays & Tuesdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Students learn to write, shoot, direct, and edit real media projects: short films, spec commercials, and branded content, from first concept to final cut. Every project is built to act as a professional portfolio piece using the same workflow and equipment expectations as a working production. The program builds toward a public screening of student work. Pay using the HOPE Marketplace or through PayPal and CashApp.

Lunar Kid Creative is a hands-on training program for high school students who want to work in film, media, and performance. It runs like a college-level workshop, with two 14-week semesters where students produce real, portfolio-level work: short films, spec ads, and live performances that build toward a public screening or showcase. Students also get access to internships and real professional sets, working alongside Lunar Kid Creative's own studio projects. The goal is practical, transferable skill that leads to paid creative work, or helps a student figure out if this path is right for them.
Spots are limited, and enrollment closes August 31. If your student is serious about a future in film, media, or performance, or just wants to find out if it's for them, this is where they start.

They act in real film projects, including productions from the Film & Media Academy, as their own portfolio piece, along with live performance and theatrical acting work.
